First Announcement

Dear Colleagues,

The Black Sea EDGE-Workshop on Differential Geometry is organized in Albena, near Varna (Bulgaria) from July 7 to July 13, 2003, in the framework of the European Research Training Network EDGE (European Differential Geometry Endevour). Albena is one of the nicest summer resorts in the Bulgarian part of the Black Sea. This place is very closed to the sea beach and has beautiful surroundings.

The workshop aims at presenting an account of the latest achievements in the subject and will be based on talks and informal discussions. The duration of talks will be 45-50 min.

How to participate

Conference fee - 90 EUR, accompanying persons - 70 EUR.

The conference fee includes registration for the workshop, an opening party, a farewell party, an excursion, refreshments and other facilities. A fee reduction for young EDGE post docs will be possible under request.

Accommodation.

  1. Standard accommodation (including breakfast, lunch and dinner):

    Single room: 51 EUR per day
    Double room: 45 EUR per day

  2. More luxury accommodations (including breakfast,lunch and dinner)

    Single room: 68 EUR per day
    Double room: 58 EUR per day

    or

    Single room: 72 EUR per day
    Double room: 61 EUR per day

The participants have to pay for accomodation and the conference fee upon arrival in cash ONLY. The acceptable curruncy are EUR, USD or BGL (Bulgarian Leva). NOTE: We regret to not be able to accept neither credit cards nor travel checks.
